The UC Center Sacramento (UCCS) has announced its sixth annual Emerging Scholars Award for Excellence in Research and Public Policy.
This award will recognize excellence in graduate student research with a direct impact on public policy. The recipients of the Emerging Scholars Award will receive a $750 prize and will deliver a policy lecture at UCCS. The policy lecture is a great way for graduate students to meet people from the policy community and develop contacts in Sacramento. Between 100-150 people attend each talk, which is composed of legislators, legislative staff, state agencies, consultants, faculty, graduate students, and other researchers.
Applications should be submitted to Sandra Wilson at sawilson@ucdavis.edu by April 30th.
