Sponsored Event Fund

Are you leading an event dedicated to professional development or a positive campus climate? Do you need funds to maximize its success? If yes, apply to the Sponsored Event Fund.

In 2021-22, we allocated $1,100 to graduate student-led events including: RadioBio's 5th Annual ValleyBio 2022 event and Merced Indian Graduate Student Association's Diwali 2021 celebration. 

For 2018-19, we allocated up to $1,000 for graduate student-led events, and in 2019-2020 that amount has increased to $2,000.

In 2016-17, we allocated $1100 to three different graduate student-led events including: We Wear our Crowns, the Annual Psychological Sciences Symposium, and the Gender, Sexuality and Queer Theory Symposium.

You got an event idea but passed the deadline. Don't worry !! Reach out to GSA Treasurer or GSA, we might be able to help you with funding. The application will be found here.

Note: given GSA's small funding pool, we highly encourage applicants to seek supplemental funding.
